PLYWOOD PLANT FOR WRANGELL AREA TALKED

Senator James Nolan reported at the weekly Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday noon that information being sent out by the Alaska Development Board from Juneau indicated that a plywood plant was going to be built in Wrangell on the old APA site north of town. The information which he had received in the mail all but had the plant under construction, he said. A bit chary, the Chamber decided to write to Juneau for more detailed information.

Officers for the coming year were nominated at the meeting as follows: President, Leonard T. Campbell; Vice President, Joyce Hay; Recording Secretary, Lew M. Williams, Sr.; Corresponding Secretary, Virgil Neyman; Treasurer, Joel Wing.

Election will be held next week.
