LATER FROM WASHOE.—Yesterday, we noticed a long legged human, staggering on the streets with a roll of blankets on his shoulder and a carpet bag in his hand. It was a little weak in the knees, owing, no doubt, to his long journey over the mountains, but managed to fetch up at one of the places for "entertainment of man and beast."

He proclaimed Washoe a humbug. He said there was no currency in circulation there except notes of hand payable on sight, and you "never could ketch sight of the man that give 'em, agin." As to the great Comstock Lead, there was "a small streak o' silver runnin through it that you could di-kiver with a strong magnifyin glass. Otherways twa'nt visible to the naked eye." For his part, he was done with Washoe.
