Full Text
W. C. Reveal, one of the proprietors of the Eureka and Tybo stage line, arrived in Eureka last evening. He reports Tybo as being very prosperous, and informs us that the mines in that vicinity are yielding largely, and looking better than at any time since their discovery. The furnaces were to have been shut down to-day for repairs, which operation will take from ten days to two weeks. There is a scarcity of coal at the camp, and the roads are in such condition as to prevent hauling. As there are over 150,000 bushels burned and ready for shipment stacked up in the neighboring mountains as soon as the roads dry out, there will be a bountiful supply. After the 1st prox. the refinery will make fifteen regular shipments of refined bullion per month. The crude article is accumulating at the works, there being over $150,000 worth on hand at the present time. There are but few idle men in the town and the outlook for the coming season is very bright.
