Full Text
There are many in this country (says a correspondent) from a certain European island, who because they are worshippers of the old royal house of Hanover & its litter of kinglings have the impudence to suppose that notwithstanding all that happened some years ago, Americans are to be drawn into the vortex of their commercial and political influence. Let such beware, and sing small; the spirit of America vibrates with that of France, and when she feels a proper sense of her own dignity she will send men and supplies to assist in the noble cause of liberty, instead of suffering her real citizens to content themselves with guzzling down bumpers to the prosperity of the brave assertors of the rights of man.
