School Histories of Civil War.

Meeting Called in Richmond June 5 to Con- sider Same.

Richmond, Va., May 25.—Some time ago individual members of the history committee of the Virginia Grand Camp of Confederate Veterans were appointed to review the various school histories in the market and to write out their views regarding the same.

This work has now been completed and in order that the results may be made known, Captain Thomas Ellett, adjutant of the grand camp, has, by direction of Dr. Hunter McGuire, chairman of the history committee, sent out notices calling a meeting of the committee in this city June 5th "to receive written reports and formulate a report to the grand camp."
