Prince Lewis of Brunswic-Wolfenbuttle, on whom at the Recommendation of the late Stadtholder, the States had agreed to confer the chief Command of the Forces has been confirmed in that high Station.
Hague, October 28. The Deputies of the States of the Province of Utrecht arrived here the 26th in the Evening, and had an Audience Yesterday of the Princess Governante, who took the Oaths in their Presence as Guardian during the Minority of the Stadtholder, William V. Deputies from the other five Provinces of the Union are shortly expected here on the same Errand. All Letters, Acts, Commissions, and other Dispatches, that used to be signed by the late Stadtholder, are now signed ANNE, with the Seal in the usual Place, and countersigned F. de Rack, who holds under the Princess Governante the same Post which he always exercised with so much Zeal, Fidelity and Application under the late Prince.
