The Pulaski Alliance Votes Down a Resolution Indorsing Him.
HAWKINSVILLE, GA., Oct. 14.—The Pulaski County Alliance met to-day in the lower part of the county and discussed the senatorial situation. Resolutions indorsing Hon. John B. Gordon for the Senate were voted down by a large majority, and the senator from this district and the representatives for Pulaski were instructed to vote against Gov. Gordon, and for some man who advocates the sub-treasury bill. It is said that both Col. Mullis and Capt. Baskins are Gordon men, but whether they will vote as instructed or for Gordon your correspondent cannot say. Gov. Gordon has many warm and true friends in this county, and it is said that the democratic executive committee will be requested to order an election to determine whether Gen. Gordon is or is not the choice of the people of Pulaski county for the United States Senate.
