Full Text

His Catholic Majesty will employ the naval force of his own with the King of Naples, in his attempt to reduce Algiers: The courage and skill the Neapolitan officers displayed last year, is the reason of their being called upon to co-operate in chastising those pirates. The marine of the above two powers, aided by the Queen of Portugal, is thought adequate to the task of compelling those barbarians to a sense of civilization and respect for the flags of other powers. The attack was to begin this month. We are impatient to know the issue.

Our good wishes attend the besiegers.
