Genoa, July 23:

YESTERDAY a vessel arrived from Bastia with advice, that General Matra having attacked the Rebels in the intrenchments of Furiani the 18th instant, was vigorously repulsed, after losing 200 men, killed, wounded, or made prisoners. Among the dead are four officers, and a greater number among the wounded. Our General 'tis said, has withdrawn the artillery he had planted on an eminence, lest the Rebels should attempt to carry it off. The government has just sent off a few vessels to Corsica, freighted with warlike stores.
