PROPOSED FOR
CASA GRANDE VALLEY
Phoenix, Feb. 20. The lower house of the Arizona legislature this morning unanimously passed a bill appropriating $10,000 for the purpose of obtaining artesian water in the lower Casa Grande valley.
If the bill becomes a law the money will be applied to the sinking of a well in a proven artesian belt, outside the area coming under the San Carlos Dam or any other project.
The land which the well will aid is largely taken up by ex-service men and it is believed it will add several thousand acres to the cultivated area of the State.
