NEW-ORLEANS, Aug. 11.

Last Saturday night, some villains entered the house of Mr. Laronet. The lady of the house being awakened by the noise, laid her hands on one of the robbers, who, in his exertions to escape, tore off that part of his clothing which she held; she then called for help, and one of the villains fired a pistol at her, but fortunately missed his aim; the patrol, who happened to be in the vicinity, hastened to the spot, and succeeded in taking two of the villains. One of them has the mark M. in his hand, for some offence committed in the State of Mississippi.
