FROM HAVANA

The steamer Quaker City, Capt. Shufeldt, from Mobile on the night of the 22d, and Havana the 25th at 5 p. m., arrived here yesterday afternoon. She experienced very heavy weather nearly the entire passage. There is no news of importance.

The stock of cigars on hand is reported at 212,000 boxes; prices have declined, but without regularity. Exchange on New-York, short sight, 6 cent premium; sixty days, 2@3 cent premium; on London, 10½@11 cent premium. In freights there is no demand for large vessels; those carrying 2,000 boxes have been taken up at from £2 5s to £9 15s per tun.

The health of the City of Havana is perfect.

The Quaker City has only $13,000 in specie on freight from Havana.
