NO DANGER OF DEFLECTION
WASHINGTON, D. C., May 1—Declaring that there is "no serious division in the Republican party," Chairman Adams issued a statement yesterday in which he asserted that "freedom of discussion within the party has always been a good Republican practice." He contends that "nothing but strength for the party and good for the country can come from free interchange of opinion on all public questions. The Harding administration may be depended upon to pursue the policies necessary to insure continuation of the present prosperous conditions."
