Bunker Hill Monument.--The early subscriptions to the Bunker Hill Monument, including the funds received from the Washington Benevolent Society, amount to 4800 dollars. Com. Bainbridge, with a generosity peculiar to his character, yesterday enclosed a check for 100 dollars, to one of the Committee, without having been solicited to subscribe. The enthusiasm and liberal feelings which are excited in favor of erecting this column, appear to prevail in all parts of the Commonwealth. It is known that the name of Lafayette is at the head of the list of subscribers. On the next anniversary of the Battle of Bunker's Hill, there will be a celebration of the event, when an Oration will be pronounced by Mr. Webster, and the corner stone of the Monument will be laid by Gen. Lafayette.
