HOW YOU GET FUNDS UNDER HOUSING ACT

Clarification Is Given as to Method of Acquiring Cash Loans

Cooperating with the Federal Housing Administration to clarify all phases of the newly-enacted Housing bill, the Empire herewith presents a set of pertinent questions and answers on home modernization and other features of Title I of the Housing Act.

The hypothetical questions and answers were conceived after a conference with the Regional Director of the FHA and officials of lending institutions.

Following are answers to hypothetical questions on modernization loans:

Q-I am thinking of modernizing my home and would like to find how to go about getting a loan. Do I have to put up any money?

A-No money is required to get a loan for modernization, repairs or additions to any property, rural or urban.
