OREGON LOSES TO CARDINALS
STANFORD STADIUM, Calif.
Oct. 7.-The powerful ground-gaining plays and bewildering aerial attack of the Stanford eleven last Saturday afternoon defeated the Oregon University 33 to 7, amazing their own followers with an offensive that brooked no opposition.
The Cardinals went on a scoring rampage tearing Oregon to shreds.
Oregon scored in the first period and then Stanford got under way in the second period.
From then on, the Oregon defense crumpled under the withering attack.
