WASHINGTON, June 8—Major General Goethals, general manager of the Emergency Fleet Corporation, has dismissed F. A. Eustis of Boston, assistant general manager, and F. H. Clark of New York, the two engineers who originated the wooden ship idea.
The dismissal followed their action last night in issuing statements which virtually charged Goethals with holding up the shipbuilding program in the nation's present emergency.
