A committee of ten persons, representing families living in the Altona area, which is being proposed by the Housing Authority as a suitable site for its 300-unit project, met with officials of the Authority Thursday night to discuss the entire matter of the project. Leon Tuetel, chairman; Mrs. Geraldine Williams, Mrs. Hetelinda Haynes, James S. Thomas, Edward Bonelli, William Niles, Edgar Mitchell, Emanuel McLean and Mr. Joshua were members of the committee.

Authority Chairman Roy Bornn said that according to the proposal land in the vicinity may be acquired by the Land Authority which could be sold to owners of superficiary houses in the proposed area and also to persons who now rent houses but who are desirous of building their own homes.

Another meeting of the Altona residents is expected to be held this week to further discuss the matter.
