H. G. Clark of Seattle, or the Wenatchee Vineyard Bonus Company was in town today on business.

W. A. Foster, a lumberman of Seattle, was in the city today on business.

Miss Boland will do dressmaking in homes or at her home, 28 C street north. Prices reasonable.

President Lou Bowman, of the Twisp Bank, is in Wenatchee today on business.

Dike Leonard bought a $600 lot on Chelan avenue from L. K. Rufus last week. L. H. Belser made the sale.

Roosevelt Dining Rooms will open tomorrow.

W. H. Dickinson and family will leave this week for an extended visit to their old home in Lake City, Illinois.

E. A. Ferris, an esteemed subscriber of the Daily World, is in the city today from his home at Orondo.

Plenty of fresh candy at the Reading Room.

Wednesday p.m. at 2:30, Sept. 18, the Ladies' Aid of the Baptist church will be entertained at the home of Mrs. W. W. Gray, by Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Sprague. Mrs. W. E. Johnson was to have assisted in the entertainment but as she leaves on that day for the east Mrs. Sprague will take her place.

Dr. M. A. Nelms, a prominent physician of the southeastern part of the state, with his home at Walla Walla, arrived on Saturday to spend a short visit with his sister, Mrs. F. B. Utter, of this place. Mrs. Utter has had a long and severe illness, but it is hoped and expected now that she will soon be able to be about.

Mrs. J. W. Bosworth will leave in a few days for Olympia. Mr. Bosworth will spend the winter in Redlands, California.

Mrs. T. J. Groves and daughter, Miss Charlotte, of Wenatchee, who have been in the city the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Will Shaffer, left Monday for Tacoma where Miss Groves will enter the Annie Wright seminary.—Olympian.
