CHARLESTON, May 18.

The Brig Bell, of Glasgow from Jamaica to Georgia, on the first of April last, off the Matanzas, was struck with lightning, which instantly killed eleven of the crew - the captain and two men escaped death, but were much bruised. A few hours after the accident, the vessel, with one hundred and fifty negroes went down. The captain and his two companions lashed some spars together, on which, with difficulty, they reached a key near Florida, where they remained five weeks in a most wretched situation - they were afterwards relieved by a wreck from New-Providence; the captain with the loss of both his legs and one arm; and his only surviving companion, Robert Boyd, in a most miserable situation, without the use of his legs, arrived here on Friday last, by way of Savanna, and gives the above account.
