INTERESTING TABULATION.

A Report Showing Some Figures Regarding the Crops of Stark County.

Auditor Lochot has completed the tabulation of the assessors' returns showing the crop statistics for the county for the years 1892 and 1893. A summary of the report shows the following interesting figures for 1892:

46,415 acres sown in wheat yielded 785,472 bushels
129 rye 1,021
115 buckwheat 1,816
25,569 oats 798,071
125 barley 2,978
25,746 planted in corn 948,792
89,539 in hay 61,689 tons
2,454 planted potatoes 221,361 bushels

In the raising of these crops 1,911,210 pounds of fertilizer was used at a cost of $26,665.

The figures also show that 1,064,552 pounds of butter were made and sold; 757,705 dozen of eggs laid by Molly Stark's hens, and 207,773 pounds of wool taken from the county's sheep.

The Prohibitionists will be glad to hear that 329 gallons of wine were made in the county last year, 220 gallons of this came from Jackson township, and with these facts before them the cold water people will undoubtedly at once begin a crusade for the redemption of that section.
