LONDON.

Extract of a letter from the Hague, Aug. 5.

We have letters from Paris, which assert, that the disgrace of a certain Ambassador to the Court of Versailles, is on account of the Countess his lady, who is an English woman, having been found out carrying on a secret correspondence with Lord Stormont, the English Ambassador, and by means of the first Clerk of the department of foreign affairs at Turin, discovering to him that a private Treaty had been concluded between the House of Bourbon and Austria, and the Kings of Poland, Sweden, and Sardinia.
