Full Text

LINCOLNTON CIRCUIT, GA.

We have been permitted to take the following extract of a letter from a worthy brother in Lincolnton Circuit, to another in this city.

The year is now near its close, but nothing was done in the way of procuring centenary subscriptions, till our last quarterly meeting, which was held at this place (Goshen) last Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, brother James Dannelly preached for us, and afterwards brother Anthony, our Presiding Elder, opened the subscription book in the congregation, and in about thirty minutes, the respectable sum of $100 dollars was subscribed. I hope that Lincoln circuit, though last, will not be least in her contributions.
