PITTSBURGH, (Pa) March 22.

Fire,--On Friday morning last a fire broke out in a new brick building at the corner of Wood and Liberty streets, which being in great forwardness before any assistance arrived, soon communicated with the adjoining houses, and in the course of two hours consumed four brick and three or four frame buildings. The common complaint at a fire in Pittsburgh, of the scarcity of buckets, and of numerous idle spectators, was very evident last Friday morning. Had there been one or two more engines, and a sufficiency of buckets, several valuable buildings might have been saved.
