Full Text

We give a list of the vessels said to have been captured and sequestered in the ports of France, Spain, and Holland and Naples, since the 1st of April 1809.--They amount to 115 Of these there are about 84 which are stated to have been taken on the high seas : most of these are insured the loss will consequently fall upon Lloyd's.- Some cargoes, which were sequestered in port; are also the property of British Merchants-So, that it seems impossible to calculate the amount of our own losses on this occasion---though they are, we fear, very considerable.
