Indian Murders

The Galveston, Texas, Civilian of the 26th ult., says:

The news of Indian murders in Kerr county, seems to indicate that the people of that new county are in a critical situation. Ten of her citizens were murdered within a few days; her losses last year in life and stock were considerable and altogether that beautiful region has had a scourge. Kerrsville is the highest settlement in the Guadalupe, and unless protected by the military the people must either abandon their homes or defend themselves which with so sparse a population is hard to do.
