Full Text
Corron and his two sons who were
killed at Bingham, Utah, by a man
named Butcher, were, it is commonly
believed in the little brotherhood where the
tragedy took place, the first gallants.
If so, Butcher is a dangerous father.
The oldest had one pistol wound-
and several cuts with a knife upon him.
and the youngest was shot five times
with a revolver and one with a gun
charged with buckshot.
Here are eleven
shots fired
by
Butcher,
every
one of
which took effect, and here are the knife
wounds, by
three stabs
Boiles
doing all this, Butcher butchered the
paternal Corron. How many bullets he
invested in the old man's body is not
stated.
If
we were of the Coroner's
jury we should find it difficult to arrive
at any other conclusion than that Mr.
Butcher went to work upon his victims
with a mitrailleuse—unless there was a
heavy preponderance of evidence in fa-
v or of his ability to transport an arsenal
upon his person and shoot his guns with
the precision of a Steve Venard.
