LONDON, December 12.

As the Ananas, or Pine-Apple, hath as yet made but little Progress in this Climate, which I presume, is owning to the prevailing Opinion, although mistaken one, That that Fruit is not to be perfected here, without the Use of Fire-stoves, and which, in my humble Opinion, hath been, and is the only Bar to the obtaining so valuable a Fruit in greater Plenty than at present; I beg leave therefore to inform the Publick, that, confirmed by the Success of three Years past, it is to be done in a much easier, less expensive Way, and meerly with as little Trouble as Cucumbers or Melons, of which any Gentlemen may be convinced on sight.
