[Alex. Expositor.]

We seriously wish that the Baltimore paper, which first noticed the attempt to rob the mail, by as it was said three black men and one white man, would inform the country on what evidence the fact was stated, it being believed by some men of the first information, that no such attempt was made on the day stated, and that the whole is an imposition on the publick, with a view to draw their attention from the persons implicated, in the villanous attempts lately made on the Baltimore and Georgetown banks.—Ibid.
