Federal Court. The case of Jas. H. Hardesty, of Marion county, was disposed of yesterday morning. Hardesty was indicted for treason in the Federal Court something like a year ago, and was admitted to bail in the sum of $6,000. One of the conditions of the bond was that he was not to give aid or comfort to the enemy. Recently an affidavit was made by three brothers named Metz that Hardesty had forfeited his recognizance. The affidavits were to the effect that Hardesty went with a party of men who were organizing a company of guerrillas in Marion county, under Pete Righter, and encouraged them in the work. The Metzs belonged to the guerrilla party, which was afterwards broken up, and nearly all the men engaged in it were arrested, including the Metzs. The Metzs, upon being sworn in court, denied every material fact in the affidavits, and the Court decided to permit Hardesty to renew his recognizance before a Commissioner.

The greater portion of the day was spent in the discussion of a motion of the District Attorney to strike from the docket the petitions of certain intervening creditors in the confiscated property cases.
