BAPTIST MISSIONARY ASSOCIATION ADJOURNS

TRUSTEES OF TEXAS ORPHANAGE WERE NAMED IN SESSION AT HILLSBORO.

Ennis and Waxahachie are Represented on the Board of Missions--Editors of Progress are Named.

The thirteenth annual session of Baptist Missionary Association Texas came to an end at Hillsboro on Friday afternoon, after what is said to be a most interesting three days' meet. This association is the supervision of the Texas orphanage located here, and naturally much interest is centered in the results of the session.

The following were elected trustees to the Texas Baptist Orphanage: D. F. O'Riley, Boyce; J. H. Lakeland, Waxahachie; J. F. McClung, Italy; J. F. Pitts, Red Oak; B. Jenkins, Forney, and H. M. Glen, Carthage. J. F. McClung was elected manager of the home.

The Rev. S. H. Slaughter and W. Scales were re-elected as editors of the Baptist Progress, published at Dallas.

The board of missions for the Baptist Missionary Association follows: E. D. Gaddy, Sulphur Springs; S. H. Slaughter, Dallas; D. Brown, Hillsboro; J. S. Willn, Ferris; H. B. Pender, Greendale; J. S. Lewis, Jacksonville; A. Hinkle, Ferris; J. M. Newburn, Jacksonville; W. Z. Corbin, Itasca; S. Bussell, Dallas; W. J. Johnson, Hillsboro; H. A. Conway, Mesquite; B. Key, Corsicana; F. M. Hensley, Ennis; J. F. McClung, Italy; Edgar Parker, Ennis; L. C. Howell, Hoyse; C. C. Huffhines, Richardson; P. L. Tomlinson, Dallas; O. Harrell, Lockhart; J. J. Taylor, Itasca; J. W. Richardson, Arlington; W. L. Glasscock, Whitney; H. Puthuff, Abbott; J. W. Scott, Ennis, and J. W. Brewer, Ennis.

The state missionary committee made a report which was adopted at the Friday morning meeting.

The enrollment committee reported 133 churches represented at this meeting.

There were 200 churches represented by messengers at the association and between twelve and fifteen hundred churches affiliated.
