Mr. Rose Again Chairman of Liquor Control Body;
Elections Had at Joint Meeting of Three Boards
All three members of the Vance County ABC board were re-elected at a joint meeting of three county boards today. The three members are George A. Rose, Henry T. Morris and R. G. S. Davis.
Mr. Rose was again elected as chairman of the board. All were re-elected for terms of three years.
No opposition was expressed or heard as to either of the three members, so far as was learned.
Terms of the three members expire as of July 1, and their election today become effective at that time.
Mr. Rose and Mr. Morris have been members of the ABC board since the county established a liquor store by vote of the people in July, 1935. Mr. Davis was elected two years ago to fill out the unexpired term of the late T. H. Crudup, who was chairman from the time the board was formed until his death. At that time Mr. Rose was named to succeed him as chairman.
