SPARTA, Ga. - Miss Ruth L. Scales spent the Xmas holidays in Atlanta with Mrs. Selina Robinson and daughter, Miss Lilian Robinson and Mrs. Louise Murphy. She also visited Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Barnes and Big Bethel A. M. E Church where she heard Rev. H. I Bearden, pastor deliver a very inspiring sermon to the youth of the church.
Miss Gussie L. Person spent the holidays with her mother and sister in Gordele, Ga. Misses Persons and Scales are teachers in the Old Beulah School of Hancock County.
Mr. Wm. McMullen is principal.
