Full Text

The Concord Police. It may be well to apprize those geniuses in towns adjoining Concord, who come hither on rainy, and perhaps on other days, to liquor up and have a frolic, that we have police officers this year determined to do their duty, hit or miss, and that idle, drinking and disorderly persons are summarily marched off to the lock-up.

One of these out-of-town chaps, becoming exceedingly boisterous last week, was taken in hand short order, and marched off to Bridewell: but the atmosphere of that lock-up being found rather too confined for healthy respiration, the delinquent was let off upon promising better behavior for the future.
