PETERSBURG, Aug. 31. In Consequence of the last Instructions sent to Count Panin, Minister from this Court to that of Stockholm, that Minister is to make the following Declaration there: That it is with great Satisfaction the Empress sees the Time approaching that the Diet of the States of Sweden: because, as her Imperial Majesty is informed, that the Desire of the Swedish Nation unanimously tends to secure the Peace, and to remove every Obstacle to the Duration of it, thus does not Doubt but the States will take Resolutions accordingly and such as will tend to the Support of a good Understanding with the Empire of Russia, by the Renewal of such Treaty.
