The Horace E. Griffiths celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary Friday night, September 2, 1955, at one of the leading clubs. The invited guests included the wedding party that participated nine years ago-Mr. George W. West, Mesdames Evelyn G. Lewis, Anna J English, Evelyn G. Atwaters and Mr. John T. Brown. Other invited guests were Mrs. Frances W. Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. James Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. Webster B Trapp Foster Lewis, Louis English, Frank Atwaters, Mrs. Evelyn Brown and Mrs. Marion Watson of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Griffith was elegantly dressed in turquoise velvet and taffeta dress with matching accessories.
