ICE HOUSE BURNS

Early Sunday morning the ice house belonging to John Marquette was discovered to be on fire, and the blaze had secured such a hold in the roof that it was useless to turn in an alarm, and the building was soon in ashes. Quite a bit of the ice was uninjured, but that supply is now nearly exhausted, as this was the main source of supply for the village of Hershey. It will soon be necessary to ship in ice from North Platte. The building was insured, so Mr. Marquette's main loss will be in the ice crop.
