Asks Divorce and Alimony From Son of Late Adams Express Co. President.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn., Aug. 29.- Henry Sanford 2d, son of Prof. Samuel Sanford of Yale, and a grandson of the late Henry Sanford, president of the Adams Express Company, was made defendant to-day in a suit for divorce and alimony by his wife, Grace B. Sanford, née Battersby, of Norwalk.
Mrs. Sanford alleged infidelity and cruelty and asked for the custody of their four-year-old son, Samuel S. Sanford, 2d.
Mr. Sanford brought a suit for divorce against his wife in New York city recently, but the case was withdrawn, a reconciliation having been effected.
