Mrs. Zadie Harvey, Agent

Services were held at the Oak Grove M. B. Church Sunday. The Rev. Summage was the speaker for the day.

Mr. Leotis Simmons and Mrs. Queen Ester Washington and sons of Jackson, Miss. was visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Manning and Mrs. Alice Windom recently.

Mr. and Mrs. David Macklin of New Orleans, La. was visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Macklin and other relatives and friends in the Ormand Hill community.

Mrs. Smith Wooten and son Roy visited Mrs. Alice Windom Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Adams of Whitfield, Miss. visited in the home of his father and sisters recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey (Bill) Collier had as their dinner guests Sunday afternoon Mr. Collier's sister Earline and her husband of the Taylorsville community, Brandon, Miss. and Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Harvey of Pelahatchie, Miss.

Mr. James Wooten and sons visited his parents Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Lewis visited Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gipson Sunday.

The many friends of Mr. George Thornton is happy to see him up and about again.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Adams of Morton, Miss. were callers in the George Manning and Windom home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Macklin and the Misses Clarissa and Mary Ormand visited in the home of Mr. Joe S. King, in the Pleasant Gift community in Scott County, Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Myrtle Scott is in the Brandon Hospital, Brandon, Miss.

Mrs. George Manning was attending to business in Jackson, Miss. Friday of this week.

Rev. J. P. Gipson attended to business in Fannin, Miss., Saturday.
