PERFORMANCE OF P. C. A. PLAY SUN.

First Presentation of "Dora Dean" to Be Given at Academy Auditorium
Will be Repeated Following Sunday
Orchestra to be Heard

The first of two performances of "Dora Dean," a play in three acts by Virginia Mitchell, will be presented Sunday by the students of the Putnam Catholic Academy at the P.C.A. auditorium on Church street. The second performance will be given the following Sunday.

The program will be as follows: Plantation overture, the orchestra; "Dora Dean" (first act); Blue Danube Waltz, Orchestra; second act: Danza Calabrese, orchestra: and third act.

The entire action of the play takes place in the living room of Locust Grove, palatial home of the Deans.

The cast is as follows: Dora Dean, an orphan, Helen Audet; Mrs. Sarah Dean, her aunt, Claire Morrissette; Eugenia Dean, her daughter, Mireille Mary; Alice Dean another daughter, Emilie Sinclair; Howard Hastings, a neighbor, Doris Daley; Ella Grey Hastings, his wife, Imelda McCarthy; Stephen Grey, Ella's brother, Mary Barbara Jackson; Mrs. Louise Elliot, Howard's sister, Anita Fusco; Mrs. Leah, housekeeper at the Hastings home, Victoria Zaklukiewich; Bridget, servant at Locust Grove, Helen Marie Collins; Joey, the handyman, Christine Driscoll: and Uncle Nat Dean from India, Raymond LeVoyer.

Members of the orchestra are: piano, Imelda McCarthy, violins, Priscilla Bonin, Marie Lagace, Marguerite Cotnoir, Anita Gaudette, Elizabeth Douville and Katherine Anne Brindley; saxophones, Eleanor Marchesseault and Christine Driscoll; trumpets, Mary Claire Jackson and Irene Cote; clarinets, Claire Rompre, Helen Rouleau, Margaret Foley and Lucille Falcone; Marimba, Henrietta Talbot, and Mary Barbara Jackson; Drums, Marion Dailey; and conductor Rose Marie De Palma.
