PARIS, (the Metropolis of France) April 25.

The great Affair of Peace is likely to meet with many Difficulties: In the first Place, England hath not accepted of Spain's Mediation: In the next Place, the Kings of England and Prussia have not Shewn any Disposition to induce the Courts of Saxony and Sweden to send Ministers to the Congress: In the third Place, England has concluded fresh Treaties with the Duke of Brunswick Wolfenbuttel and the Landgrave of Hesse Cassel; the Tendency of which is to give additional Vigour to the Operation to the Allied Army.
