Full Text

Dear Thelma: We are all puzzled. Will you please set us on the right path? What is this "Shimmy" we hear so much about? We went to a cabaret and the waiter told us that the dance we saw was called the "Shimmy," and we thought he was right until we were downtown with our wife one day and she stopped in front of a department store and said, "Oh, what a darling shimmy, only $19.85." and now we see your picture and you are not dancing but playing and have on one of those $19.85 things and we are all puzzled. Will you please tell us: Do you dance or wear or play the shimmy?
