That the United States is about 300 years ahead of the European nations is the opinion of Frank Diamos after returning to his home in Nogales from a three months vacation in Europe.
Mr. and Mrs. Diamos visited in Italy, Greece, France, and England. In France they saw the Riviera, Monte Carlo, and "gay Paree"; in England they stayed in London which they said was one of the most interesting cities they visited.
The gold standard of France and Italy makes prices there very high, while Greece has the lowest prices of all the European countries. Prices in England are about the same as those of the U. S., he said.
Mr. and Mrs. Diamos returned on the Normandie, largest and fastest boat afloat.
In the United States they visited Washington, D. C., which was the most beautiful city of all visited, Mr. Diamos said.
After briefly visiting in Canada and seeing the Niagara Falls Diamos drove to Nogales from Detroit.
"I am very glad to be back in the United States as it has all the rest of them beat", Diamos said.
