Centreville.

The machine Shop of Bell and Robinson is in working order. A pic-nic was given last Thursday in aid of St. Boniface Church. The Phil & Toby Creek Coal and Oil Co are mining coal from a depth of 70 feet at their colliery after two years preparation. The coal is of a very superior quality. The freight office and Depot of the Daguscahonda B. R. are nearly completed. Two or three steam Shingle Mills are in course of construction in this neighborhood. The "McCauley House" is finished and ready for guests. A new Brewery is being built at the east end of the village.
