POLICE COURT.—There was a 'crush' of spectators at the Police Court, yesterday morning. We suppose that the unusually large crowd came expecting to hear richness in settling up Christmas scores. There were present representatives from the extremes of our long drawn out city. They, no doubt, imagined that they smelt drunks, disorderlies, fights, murders, riots, rows, etc., and almost all other conceivable violations of the city ordinances. This time, however, the public scent was at fault. There were only two 'plain drunks (Hiram McPherson and John Glenn,) which were settled by the payment of one dollar and costs in each instance; two cases of Indecent exposure, (Silas Conaway and John Zane,) which added five dollars and costs each to the city's exchequer, and one outrageous assault, (Nicholas Gaus,) that required twenty and costs to liquidate. This comprised the business of the session. Only this 'and nothing more.'
