We have received information from a source in which the utmost confidence may be placed, that the king of Spain has issued orders prohibiting any person from emigrating to, or residing within the Spanish dominions on the Mississippi, who does not profess the Roman Catholic religion; this we hope will serve as a sufficient caution to the inhabitants of Kentucky, who have thoughts of moving to that country against placing confidence in the precious promises of a government, whose stability depends on the whim or caprice of a single individual.
