New Westward Edition
The Seward Daily Gateway once more is taking the initiative in advancing the interests of Alaska. This time it will be an edition devoted strictly to the Westward, both conducive to the Fur Farmers and the Fish Canning Industry. This edition will perhaps be the only one of its kind ever produced in the Territory. Its size will be that of the Saturday Evening Post, and will be profuse with pictures depicting fox raising, the canning of Alaska fish and, through the courtesy of Merl LaVoy, the Gateway is grateful in securing some of the finest pictures of the sealing industry that have ever been taken. With all, this edition promises to advance the welfare of the big westward district which Seward alone is the Gateway.
Many correspondents have been arranged and thru the last mail indications point that the special edition for our neighbors will go over big. At another time announcement will be made as to the date of this publication, but it will not be off the press before July.
The Gateway solicits articles for this edition which will be of especial interest to those concerned. As was said before, this will be a strictly Westward edition, dedicated to the Fur Farmers and the Fish Canning interests of the Westward and Southwest district.
Advertising rates will be sent upon application.
