FROM GUADALOUPE.

By captain Bradshaw, we learn, that the island is in a very unpleasant situation. The blacks are extremely insolent, and unless troops speedily arrive from France, they will scarcely possess the island. Several of the ringleaders of the last insurrection had been taken and sent on board the French frigate cruising off Basse-Terre. The whites and mulattoes are very much alarmed for their safety, and several temporary embargoes have been laid on to prevent their quitting the island.
