The Kansas Convention.

In the Constitutional Convention a schedule was passed declaring that the Constitution be submitted to the people on the 15th of December next for their approval or rejection. If ratified, it provides that the election for Territorial officers and judges of the Supreme Court, and members of Assembly, shall take place the third Tuesday in January. It also provides that the General Assembly shall have authority to secure the enforcement of the sixth section of the bill of rights before the fourth of July next.
