Glover Meets Roy Dunn Next Tuesday Night

Tough House Glover. The opportunity to witness one of the best fights scheduled for the local ring in many a day. Glover, the Savannah welterweight who has bowled over every adversary he has met since he began two years ago, fighting out of this city, his headquarters, will have a hard nut to crack Tuesday night, March 1, when he meets Roy Dunn of Atlanta in a 10 round contest at the Chatham Athletic Club. Many local fans, knowing the class of boys Dunn has defeated, are dubious of Glover's ability to conquer the Atlanta ace who has been going like a tornado through the best opponents who have faced him within the past year. Being fighters of the same fashion and both with a wallop of dynamite in either hand a scrap of the unusual type is on tap for next Tuesday night. Dunn and his manager are expected in town Sunday and will give a public workout Monday. The semi-final will be fought by Peter Martin, Savannah's favorite bantam, and Dangerous Dick, a young fighter of Atlanta, who will accompany Dunn and his manager here. The rest of the card will be made up of a 6 rounder between Cussie York and Young Sam Langford, 142 pounders; a 4 rounder between Young Rough House Glover and Kid Blackshear, and a 5 handed battle royal. In order to encourage the female patronage to the fight, ladies and girls accompanied by a paid admission will be admitted free. This innovation should prove quite a boost to the attendance and indications are that a large number of women will take advantage of this. ROUGH HOUSE GLOVER
